Poor Little Cardinal...

This scraggly looking little bird reminds me an old song called Walking to Missouri.
"Poor little robin, walkin, walkin, walkin, to Missouri
He can't afford to fly..."
I'll be most of you don't remember that.
I think this is just a young cardinal that hasn't grown his feathers but he looks pretty pathetic..
Wow. Yes,bedraggled is the word that comes to mind. Don't know that song, but it fits this pic! I hear that birds molt and at times, have very dull feathers, then the bright ones come back.....so maybe that is her problem also. ???
