It was a surprise for me at least. For ten years I've had leaves that I thought were from the from the roots of a deceased corn plant. After taking the plant from my garage and putting it in the yard, it suddenly bloomed. It looks like a an amaryllis but I have no idea how it got in the pot with the old corn plant.
