You know that feeling when you see this in your rear-view mirror? First you look down to see what the speedometer says and try NOT to touch the brakes. Well, today...it was not a panic to see this car. I came home from visiting my new grandbaby and our house had been broken into!!!! Fortunately only a few things were taken and we have insurance.
How horrible, Vicki. . .you're gone for such a blessed event and then come home to that!! I must admit, though, that shot of the police car sent shivers down my spine. Hope you are able to put this behind you!
Sorry to hear that nothing like some people that think they have right to go where they please. Just glad they did not get a camera with new baby shots.
@anndee@lindag@lyno@yonnie@kwind@kerristephens thanks for your comments...it is irritating and frustrating trying to remember what might be gone...we have lived here 22 years...normally safe, but once before were broke into...I have just learned that it is just STUFF...
Oh, no! Glad you were not there. Like you said, it's just stuff, because unfortunately sometimes much worse things happen during brake in... Very cool shot, you certainly found something inspirational in this ugly event!
Quite a frightening experience you had, Vicki. This happened to me years ago and my wife and I still talk of it with some awe. Thankfully not much was stolen in that occasion. But the experience will linger on for many days. At least you're safe and like you said not much was stolen.
