The break-in story from Wednesday continues... today, I was headed to help my daughter with the new baby. At the corner near my home sat a white truck that I did not recognize. As I drove past the man inside ducked down!!! RED FLAGS, right? I drove to the next corner with him still in sight, made some calls and took a photo of his truck. Then as I was calling 911 he came charging into the road I was on, swerving and peeling out all over, tossing gravel...and headed right for me!!! I was terrified!! at the last moment he turned his truck and headed on down the gravel roadway. I took off in my car, but didn't know WHERE to go! Not to my daughter's for sure and not back home...a little while later one of the neighbors I had called, called me back and said the police had arrived and trapped the man down that road and he was under arrest for previous warrants! I went on back and gave my report to the police and now am hoping and praying that this is the end to it. Hopefully it is the guy who broke into our home and it is over. Believe me, we live in a beautiful normally safe area, this is not at all common here. I spent the day with my daughter and grandkids as I would have anyway. I waited until I knew my husband was home before I came back. When I arrived home, these flowers were waiting for me on the front porch. Love from one of our neighbors.
That is a very scary incident. I am glad you are safe and we will pray that this is now over for you and your family. Glad to know that you have nieghbours who are caring and watching out for you as well
Vicki!! DId you ever think you would be involved in something like this?!? I hope the flowers helped to restore your faith in humankind. Thank heavens you thought so fast AND that the police caught him. . .
Your having just to much excitement this last week. Let's hope that this is the end of it all. Glad your safe. Go sit on your deck with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset.
Oh Vicki ..I didnt know you had a break in i must have missed that day! this si so terribly scary and i know how it feels to be robbed it just makes you feel so unsafe..and vulnerable....i hope they put that guy away for a long , long time...You may need to get an alarm system..i am as soon as i get home so maybe i can sleep at night like normal people again..that is why i stay up all night when i am alone..and it has turned into a bad habbit! I pray for peace for you and your family and for Gods angles to surround your house and guard it day and night! God has given us charge over his angles..so put them to work!! :) P.S. Great Photo and Great Neighbors! ;0)

What a story! I have just caught up with you. It's very unnerving to be broken into, never mind being run at by a madman in a truck. Hope you are ok now.
I can't believe you are going through all of this. What a crazy ordeal. Hope this is the end. Beautiful flowers and shot! It's nice to have such caring neighbors.
