For those who are familiar with my view, this is the hillside that faces me, just right of 'MY' mountain. Fall has arrived. We don't naturally have the sold vivid red and oranges on the hills like they do back east, our native trees are broad-leaf maple, which turn yellow and the vine maple which is an orangey red, some oaks and then there are the evergreen fir, cedar and pines. Along with those are the alder, which just turn brown and fall off. Even tho it is not as showy as those reds and oranges...this is a view I am in awe of every fall...it is MY view and I love it! as you can also see, the typical fall skies are here too! so much for our long dry spell.
Oregon and its beautiful evergreens. I saw today your FB page and just realized that one of my high school friends also lives in Gresham. It's a small world.
@jenrobcarr not cold to me...it was about 60° when I took this in the morning. of course a but warmer would have been ok, but I was able to do my walk (workout) in a long sleeve t-shirt and was fine.
