... the Fuschia which hasn't yet noticed it's Winter.
A dozen years ago we planted 20 Fuschia bushes and each Winter since we have lost two or three to the hard frosts we can have here. There are now only two remaining: a delicate pink one which behaves as a Fuschia should, and this stubborn one which insists on continuing to flower right through the Winter!
This was shot indoors as it was too windy this morning to photograph the flowers in-situ. I did manage to get one halfway decent outdoor shot though and have put it in my Doubletakes Album.
@joansmor That's why I cut the stem and took this one indoors to photograph... and it's sitting in a little vase in front of me as i type. Have a relaxing weekend, Joan.
This picture is phenomenal! I can't believe how crisp and clean it is. I feel like it is something I would see in a National Geographic magazine. Super shot!
@friend2303 Thanks for your kind comments Vijay - it's just window light but I took some trouble with the positioning of the flower. Thanks too for the Fav... but you forgot to press the button I think as it's not showing on my stats!
