... Sundays are always busy chez nous and today was even busier than normal. I managed though to find a little gap at the end of the day and before our dinner guests arrived to go 'shot hunting' in the garden. Yesterday's lucky find was always going to be a hard act to follow so, in the circumstances, I'm not too disappointed with this. Had to do a lot of crawling around flat on my belly like a reptile to find it though ;-) For interest, the spider was about 3mm long.
@aecasey@dibzgreasley Hi April & Debs - when I first spotted him he was on the seed-head itself and almost impossible to distinguish, but he moved when I tapped the stem and I was able to take the shot!
I can tell you are a lot farther into spring then us because you would not be on the ground before a dinner with friends here as you would come up muddy. You have so many flowers that I have never seen. Love seeing all of these.
Wow - tiny litlle spider and yet you got so much detail. I really like the threads of web leading us down to him too. Lovely shot. Isn't nature amazing.
@vignouse Weeds are beautiful things sometimes. It's only when they become bullies that I hate them. I get the bug thing, I just can't get excited because I don't really want to look to closely. I think it stems from those movies as a kid with the flesh eating ants. One of the few movies that gave me nightmares.
