L'Abbaye de Paimpont et Mairie - bis...

Yesterday's photo of Paimpont Abbey taken in the middle of the 'blue hour' attracted quite a bit of comment about the intensity of the sky colour. The 'blue hour' is fascinating not only because of the intensity of the colours but the rapidity at which they change. Here's another shot of the Abbey taken earlier in the 'blue hour' period and from a different viewpoint which has a completely different feel about it.
Love your capture of the blue hour and the mystic of the moment!
Is the foreground processed or is that fog?

@radiogirl Thankyou for commenting - as to the foreground... yes it's mist rising from the water but I lifted the exposure on the water to better approximate what I saw when I took the photo.

Love this Richard. I am still thinking of my night picture of #1 pond and want to get back out there soon. But it will not begin to compare.

Excellent photo. Quite a long exposure and it's awesome you were able to keep the trees from blurring. I guess I just shoot my trees when it is windy...does this lake ever fog up? Beautiful.

I just love the color in this photo also. The lighting is wonderful. It gives the photo a dusky feel to it. Fav.

Fabulous processing!

Just magnificent, Richard! Those must be floodlights bouncing off of the face in the background? Really offsets the color so well. Thanks for this!
