Yesterday's photo of Paimpont Abbey taken in the middle of the 'blue hour' attracted quite a bit of comment about the intensity of the sky colour. The 'blue hour' is fascinating not only because of the intensity of the colours but the rapidity at which they change. Here's another shot of the Abbey taken earlier in the 'blue hour' period and from a different viewpoint which has a completely different feel about it.
@radiogirl Thankyou for commenting - as to the foreground... yes it's mist rising from the water but I lifted the exposure on the water to better approximate what I saw when I took the photo.
Excellent photo. Quite a long exposure and it's awesome you were able to keep the trees from blurring. I guess I just shoot my trees when it is windy...does this lake ever fog up? Beautiful.
Is the foreground processed or is that fog?
