Judging by the reaction to yesterday's post, Bonbons, there are a lot of 365ers with a sweet tooth. Personally, I'm not that fond of sweet things - give me savoury any day. So I was happy to pass by the candy stall but a visit to the Sunday market without paying a visit to the olive seller is simply unthinkable, She has every type of olive you can think of, preserved in a number of different ways and with different flavours. I like the Greek Kalamata olives, the delicately flavoured rose coloured ones, the spicy mixed olives... and the pickled garlic - yum!
Here is just a small sample to get your mouths watering...
Great shot. I know I said that the cheese stall was my idea of heaven, but this is right up there with it. I do have a sweet tooth too, but I veer towards chocolates rather than sugary candy.
I like olives too. I too prefer the savory side. And the spicy selection sounds great. I have not heard of pickled garlic but sound like it might be right up my alley. Do they let you sample? Beginning to envy your Sunday Market.
