Apple by vignouse

Apple

In my second full week here on 365, I did seven days of things 'found around the house'. As my phojo is not currently firing on all cylinders and it seems to be constantly raining, I've decided to repeat the exercise but this time with everyday or mundane things pictured, if possible, in an unordinary way. Here's the first one...
Really like this in B&W.

you've taken an ordinary object, and you've made it look extraordinary.

The lighting and composition are nicely done, to highlight the texture of the apple's skin. Nice, tight crop works well, too. Happy "house" hunting. :)

You have taken an ordinary item usually photographed in all it's glory in full color to show off the red shiny skin and yet here you photographed this ordinary item in a mundane black & white and made it a super star! Fantastic capture!

It seems to be that time of year when the phojo gives up the ghost. Mundane household items are always good for stand ins. I like the light and comp in this.

Excellent! The light has made the apple appear to be on the verge of sparkling.

One of the things I want to do in my 2nd year is look at some of the pictures I took last year and improve on them or find another angle. Did you catch a bit of the lost mojo from Jocasta. LOL Looks like you are doing a nice demonstration of minimalist too. Just want to eat that apple.

Great idea for a theme Richard. This certainly fits the bill: Planet Apple! Very good.

@yrhenwr David, you've made my day.. I wondered if someone would spot the planet illusion - I'm not surprised it was you.
