B&W February: A Bluetit and, err... a Greenfinch!!

This is one of several feeding stations in the garden; this nut feeder and three more like it have to be refilled daily... and that's not counting the seed feeders, the fat and the apples! The feeding stations attract a fair number of species and there seems to be some sort of unwritten 'Gentleman's Agreement' by which they all feed together peaceably. This feeding station and two others are just feet away from our kitchen table so we have a bird cabaret to entertain us at mealtimes... at least during the daytime.
Oh, they can just eat you out of house and home - almost like a teenager!! :-) Great capture and love the processing in b&w Richard!!!

Lovely shot, surprising how good colourful birds look in monochrome

Very nice, Richard. Our fat feeders and corn board are in our living room windows, so we enjoy them as we relax. Great DOF here.

Great shot. They would be entertaining to watch. It is good that they all get along.

Ah, this is a lovely capture. I was out hiding in the garden the other day trying to get a decent shot of the blue tits at the feeder. Not always so easy!

So sharp and love the bokeh

very clear, good catch!

Must be the French birds because my birds seem to think they have a singular right to the feeder. That is why I seldom get a twofer like you have here. It is a lovely bw but I do love the colors of the bluetit.

what a delightful capture!

Great b & w with wonderfully creamy background and the softness of the white bird at the top. I am somewhat puzzled by the bottom bird and
the legs. Only see one and then there seems to be another up high by the beak!

Lovely pair.

I love how the bird at the top is peaking around from the back of the feeder.

Haha, they both look like they're playing peek-a-boo with each other! Lovely in B&W - Lucy

I like the two birds on the picture. The one on top seems to keep and eye on his mate. On the other side, how much can we learn from wild life... In this case the word "share" ;)

Wonderful capture of these two cute birds
