@maggiemae This is the very start and they had been standing around in chest deep water for a few minutes, many of them jumping up and down to keep warm which stirred up the muddy bottom somewhat - normally the water is quite clear.

@joansmor They're wearing Triathlon suits Joan: they come straight out of the water and ride a bike for 2 hours or so and then get off the bike and run - they can't afford to waste time changing clothes so the same garment has to be suitable for swimming, cycling and running.
