Mrs S knitting toy rabbits as presents for two knitting and crocheting friends. As I post this she is spending a long weekend with them in Worthing, England, having caught the Rennes-Southampton flight this afternoon.
This is another in my 'Hands' series and rewards viewing on black if you can.
Exquisite on white, enhanced still further on black. I'd say most photos are. So I've never really been sure why 365 uses white as it's background colour.
@jasperc Well if black was the background screen colour, the text would have to be white or a very light colour and that would be very wearing on the eyes I think. This way, we have a choice.
Yes it does reward being viewed on black...There was a TV series in Irish television a few years back called Hands all about crafts people who kept traditional skills alive. I'm sure your good Lady Wife would have been just the kind of subject they would have featured. Fav pic for me..
Just beautiful... it honors the ancient craft which she carries on. As always, your processing is really lovely. On a personal note, I adore her wedding ring. :) Fav.
A TT contender I'm sure Richard, this is wonderful & what a great series this is....I feel like nicking your idea! The simplest ones are usually the vpbest! These hands are full of character & convey a sense of contentment. Well done!
@rosiekerr
Thank you for your appreciative wedding ring comment. We both have the same ring. They're Russian and are 3 intertwined rings of yellow, white and rose gold. The additional ring is also Russian which I fell across in a tatty jewellers a little while after we were married. Another jeweller did some rebuilding work on it to make it more robust. It's a twist of yellow gold with a sphere at each end to hold the ring in place. You won't be surprised to know that we like it too!
@rosiekerr What Mrs S didn't mention is that the three intertwined rings represent the trinity of marriage... man and woman joined permanently together in Holy Matrimony by and with God.
