This is the inner harbour at La Roche Bernard, snapped as we were walking to lunch at a restaurant just out of view to the right, on the last day of our holiday.
Love the mellow colours, the tranquillity...yet plenty of action is lying dormant; it just sums why we enjoy it so much as a start and end to our hols.
@tosee Thanks Tom - I think all of my colour shots this month were taken using the Velvia simulation. It works well when there is plenty of light but the colours get a bit blocked up and muddy when light levels fall, I find.
@dibzgreasley Thanks Debs - am I looking forward to the end of nf-sooc? Well, yes and no. The constraints rule out some images - usually after I have taken them and notice something that I should have corrected in camera - but the discipline trains your mind to see in different ways when you look through the viewfinder. I just need now to make a habit of incorporating the learning into my photographic regime.
film simulation are you using?
