This is a follow on from the last two days images where I've been exploring the effects of a change of PoV and different processing options on what is essentially the same scene. This image was captured from a viewpoint mid-way between that of the last two images, but only 10 metres separate the three. Once again the scene and the story it tells is completely different. This has been a fascinating exercise - this last image is my favourite of the three I think... especially when viewed on black!
it's beautiful , it's also my favorite post-processing gives the impression of being present at the scene and a flash takes our picture (the sun) and takes us out of our contemplation of our reverie.
It is amazing how much pov can change an image, such an interesting study. This shot is wonderful, I love the the waiting kayaks. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your bio. You provided some wonderful feedback about how you approach this project and I really got a lot out of your 'pov'. Thank you for sharing.
@francoise Thank you Françoise - well yes, sorry, it's the last in this little series... but the exercise was so interesting that I shall be trying it again before long.
I do love this one with the strong leading lines of the boats and the pier converging at the point of the sunset! Wonderful processing and light, again, even in B&W!! FAV!
