NF-SOOC-2017 - Day 8: High Altar

Pictured today in the Church of Saint Symphorien at Azay le Rideau. It would have been better with a little crop on the right... but it is what is!

@maggiemae Interesting you should say this because I had another image which was exposed for the chancel window and so was much darker and more intimate overall... in the end though I went for this brighter version.

I like the diagonal light, starting with the window and the red light on the left. The textures hi lighted across the room are rather lovely.

@photohoot Without taking multiple shots and blending them (currently off limits due to my self-imposed sooc challenge) some decisions had to be made about yhe balance of light in this image. The two main light interest areas are the chancel window and the front altar: exposing for the chancel window leaves the altar almost unlit.... I decided that blowing out the window some was the better choice - but it was a difficult decision.
