I've suffered with nightmares most of my life... this wouldn't even make 1 on the Richter Scale of scary dreams - I couldn't imagine how to show you what a 10 looks like!
View on black... or perhaps just close your eyes and don't view at all!
I have nightmares too but mostly of the I haven't done something I should have and my world is going to implode. I had the scary ones when I was a kid. I prefer the kind I have now. You have my sympathies.
@joansmor You have my sympathies... I get anxiety dreams too but I can usually rationalise them whilst I am dreaming. Even in the bad ones I know I am dreaming but the knowledge doesn't help much! I guess after 60+ years, they're going to be with me to the end!
@vignouse Well semi retirement seems to have done in the anxiety ones. I did conquer the monster ones by confronting the monster. It actually disappeared before my eyes and scared me have to death. But it only came back a couple of times and I confronted it. Gone after all monsters are bullies.Saying it is not real is not enough - tell it to get lost.
