The Priest's Viewpoint... by vignouse

The Priest's Viewpoint...

...of Paimpont Abbey church. This is the view from the middle of the chancel looking straight up the nave. I've deliberately chosen a stylised monochrome treatment which seems (to me|) in keeping with the 800+ years since the Abbey was built.

Another to view on black I think...
Title is perfect, and the lines/symmetry in this make for such a strong comp.

Excellent DOF and POF and any other letters one might like to put together! What about JGS? (jolly good show!)

Marvelous perspective

I like the long narrow nave. It's interesting to see this church from this point of view. Usually we've been looking at it from the other direction.

Truly an interesting take. I also love the b&w for the gentle seriousness that is conveyed here. Fav.

Beautiful capture. The priest must be in awe every time he stands to deliver a sermon there.
