This is for Vikki's @summerfield One Week Challenge - the Sunday theme is Panorama - but it's not the shot I intended to post. I had planned on doing a panorama across Paimpont Lake with the village and the Abbey at centre stage... but I made a complete and utter pig's breakfast of it. Even the most arcane facilities of Photoshop couldn't rescue it despite more than an hour of trying.
By this time night had fallen so a re-shoot was out of the question... the only thing left was the view in front of my eyes so here's Mrs S and Mitzi in our living room taken with a 12 shot vertical panorama at ISO 6400. (I see now that I should have closed the curtains over the front door... and tidied up a bit!)
A 12 shot pano is very impressive, I don't think I've ever got beyond four. Interesting that it's given the far wall a curve. And what a bohemian scene! Like the contrast too between Mitzi hamming it up centre stage and Mrs.S, completely oblivious. A very engaging shot!
I like this so much more than a panorama of a lake :)! I have to admit I shied away from this theme.. I need to so some research on how to stitch images in photoshop so I can join in next time around ;)! Nicely done and what a cute puppy you have!
Well this just made me chuckle, the back story is funny, and if this is your version of messy then lord knows what you would think of my place after both my kids and their friends being here for thanksgiving!
I think you've got a great result here. Would never have thought of doing an indoor shot, don't think house is big enough, and what an inviting home you have.
Much the same layout as my living room (door, stairs, fireplace, storage stuff under the stairs, speakers) but about twice the size! I could do with a pair of speakers like those! So, what exactly is there to tidy? Looks cosy to me.. maybe a bit too tidy for my comfort! Anyway you get a fav for the idea.. I should have done something similar instead of risking the cold and stormy sea front. Fav
@vignouse I did the same... but the humidity in Aberystwth is quite high throughout the year. Fungus got many of the old lenses and began to spread to a couple of modern ones,, the survivors are now stored in air tight boxes each with a rechargeable mini dehumidifier
