No, I also love to see the windmills. For many years we had only three near the bridge and I would also look for them as we drove closer. However, it's not in my back yard (as they say).
I like them too. I understand they do cause some problem, but then they solve some, too. It's easy to forget just how tall they are, but this view really gives some perspective to their height.
I like them too, I think they are graceful and clean and a testament to what humankind can do when they think about it. I know there are some issues, but surely nuclear power and coal are worse?
VML how these stand proud above the ground vegetation...and how the light enhances their grace, beauty and function. May their Wow Factor continue to give me pleasure and pride wherever and whenever I see them.
I was about to write something of the beautiful contrast between the vividness of the tone spectrum and the calmness of the rural landscape - however I'll just say, I really like this photo!
