Dark Lady... by vignouse

Dark Lady...

...well, lady in the dark anyway!

Mrs S was just returning from taking Mitzi for a walk at nightfall when she suddenly found herself confronted with a wide-angle lens a foot from her nose. The result is everything a portrait shouldn't be... but I love it.

Needs to be viewed on black I think.
Wonderful

May not be a portrait lens but her engaging natypops off the page and against black is a stunner. Wall hanger for sure

I love Jane Pittenger's comment.( @jgpittenger) I'd never heard the term naty, but what a great word! I suspect that's most what you love about this portrait. I think Mrs. S has beautiful eyes.

Ambush portraiture? This is ever so well done. You've captured a wonderful warm and very engaging image of Mrs. S. Fav.

Works really well on black - she did well to smile in those conditions

Look at those eyes, she really love you despite the lens in the face. :)

You sure broke the rules! You risked getting your nose broken too!
