I realised this afternoon that, with one thing and another, it had been a while since I took a camera for a walk in the forest. It was dull, damp, muddy, rather dismal and extremely windy. All of which were perfect conditions to capture this image reflected in one of the numerous puddles: it reminds me some of post-impressionist painters like Monet - it's a 'water no-colour' if you like!
@yrhenwr Hi David - thanks for commenting but you've left me somewhat baffled! The title is a straightforward description of the image: they are indeed reflections in Winter and so I don't see anything funny about it - certainly no humour was intended. And I don't understand "ditch the three steps" - can you enlighten me please?
@vignouse I'm being a bit obscure. Richard! No criticism of your image was intended... I like it but didn't say so. As for the humour, you gave me the OK with your 'water no-colour' phrase! ( I thought it was funny anyway! But its not the title so I made a mistake there) Anyway, long ago you chided me for doing a 'straight' shot when you would have preferred something else, at least converting to b/w as a first step. I'm sure you don't remember! But I do! :-)
