Did you use a flash here? This must be what they call tongue and groove!

@maggiemae Tongue and groove it is. No, no flash - I used tone balancing to get the feel how I wanted it and and then refined the tonal range by adjusting the colour slider appropriate to a particular grey shade - all done in Lightroom.

I like the contrast that shows off the texture. Pretty cool how the top plank appears to be floating above the rest.

@madeinnl @joysabin Thank you both - the composition would have better balanced had I moved the top double plank and leaned at an angle against the bottom three... hindsight is wonderful!
