Paimpont 2018: Day 245 - Meat!

Vegetarians - I apologise for this in-your-face image but we came home tonight to a flooded ground floor with water still pouring through the ceiling from a fractured pipe in the attic...finding a sensitive 365 post wasn't too high on the agenda ;~}

Frighteningly gory on black!
ah I am not a meat eater but there is something very sad happing

good photo of meat.... sorry about the leak disaster!
November 25th, 2018
Hope your leak is fixed as well as your piece of mind very soon.
November 25th, 2018
Sorry to hear that
November 25th, 2018
Oh that is not for a happy return home , hope all repaired now though
November 25th, 2018
the meat is my idea of heaven, but not my idea of the predicament you find yourselves in ... i hope that you found an idea to solve your problem!
November 25th, 2018
Oh dear! What an awful way to enter your home! Hope it's resolved by now. Not a big meat eater, but it certainly does look good.
November 25th, 2018
ouch, that's not fun!
November 25th, 2018
What interesting cuts ... hope the meal was comforting. How horrible about the water.
November 25th, 2018
Life's travails can at least be mitigated with the help of a nice lamb chop and a glass of red. I wish you well for the clear up. The alu makes for an interesting background in the photo.
November 25th, 2018
Sorry about the leak! Your meat looks great with rosemary, mmmmmm!
November 25th, 2018
Oh gosh, worse than a leak flooding home there's only a leak flooding home the day after you remembered your home insurance expired. Hope yours was in place. And - even with a vegetarian wife - if I think of comfort food I think of a nice grill. Take care, Richard.
November 25th, 2018
Oh no - a disaster to come home to. Hopefully all can be fixed. Dinner looks good anyway!
November 25th, 2018
Ouch that is a lot to deal with. I remember when my cellar would flood before I got the dry basement sysrem installed. An that was a basement. Glad you hae a good meal.
November 25th, 2018
Spider photographers aren't sensitive either. Oh dear, getting a plumber at the weekend's a nightmare. Hope damage, and costs, not too great.
November 25th, 2018
Hanging on in there...just! Our plumber is coming first thing tomorrow morning...in the meantime...we're impatient campers, looking forward to a shower!
November 25th, 2018
Oh no, what an awful situation to come too. Our plumber is coming on Tuesday to replace the pipes in our roof. We've had a couple of small leaks and don't want to risk a major one!
November 25th, 2018
Oh dear, I hope you got the plumbing issue sorted out. What a nightmare! Dinner does look good, although I have to confess to feeling guilty these days eating meat, since our son became vegan and regales us daily with reasons not to be eating meat. Sigh. Ignorance was bliss.
November 25th, 2018
Well the lamb looks delicious but I do sympathise with the flooding. We came home from holiday once to find the pipes in the attic had burst and the water was running through the light fitting in the ceiling. Whole scenario was bad enough until the builders who came to fix the ceiling found asbestos !! All the ceilings in the house had to be replaced!
November 25th, 2018
Huge sympathy for this domestic diisaster and hope all is soon fixed. Lamb surely mitigated the situation.
November 25th, 2018
Oh god - what a misfortune in your house! I hope everything will be fine soon. I wish you a lot!
P.S .: I rarely eat meat.
November 25th, 2018
Oh dear! Not too much damage I hope. I would have opened a bottle or two!
November 25th, 2018
Sorry about the leak! Good shot.
November 25th, 2018
Oh dear...I hope the repairs and all that goes into water damage can be fixed by Christmas. Take care. Great shot :)
November 25th, 2018
ugh so sorry to hear that. do hope all will be resolved soonest for you and mrs s

November 25th, 2018
Oh dear, hope your plumbing problems are fixed soon. What a mess you must have to clean up.
November 25th, 2018
Sorry for the disaster. Hope it was repaired without the need for others. The food actually looks good.
November 26th, 2018
Just what you don't want to arrive home to. Hope your plumbing is sorted out quickly
November 26th, 2018
@yrhenwr We had been out to a do so had already imbibed... didn't stop me drinking a good third of a bottle of whisky once we had finished ;~}
November 26th, 2018
@vignouse A third of a bottle seems very reasonable in the circumstances
