Vegetarians - I apologise for this in-your-face image but we came home tonight to a flooded ground floor with water still pouring through the ceiling from a fractured pipe in the attic...finding a sensitive 365 post wasn't too high on the agenda ;~}
Life's travails can at least be mitigated with the help of a nice lamb chop and a glass of red. I wish you well for the clear up. The alu makes for an interesting background in the photo.
Oh gosh, worse than a leak flooding home there's only a leak flooding home the day after you remembered your home insurance expired. Hope yours was in place. And - even with a vegetarian wife - if I think of comfort food I think of a nice grill. Take care, Richard.
Ouch that is a lot to deal with. I remember when my cellar would flood before I got the dry basement sysrem installed. An that was a basement. Glad you hae a good meal.
Hanging on in there...just! Our plumber is coming first thing tomorrow morning...in the meantime...we're impatient campers, looking forward to a shower!
Oh no, what an awful situation to come too. Our plumber is coming on Tuesday to replace the pipes in our roof. We've had a couple of small leaks and don't want to risk a major one!
Oh dear, I hope you got the plumbing issue sorted out. What a nightmare! Dinner does look good, although I have to confess to feeling guilty these days eating meat, since our son became vegan and regales us daily with reasons not to be eating meat. Sigh. Ignorance was bliss.
Well the lamb looks delicious but I do sympathise with the flooding. We came home from holiday once to find the pipes in the attic had burst and the water was running through the light fitting in the ceiling. Whole scenario was bad enough until the builders who came to fix the ceiling found asbestos !! All the ceilings in the house had to be replaced!
P.S .: I rarely eat meat.
