Twilight Quarantine

This is a pic of the Apollon orchid which featured in my post 29 January 2019 - it has now reached the end of its current flowering period and is quarantined to the cool of the downstairs shower-room windowsill until it is ready to bloom again.

Are orchids supposed to be put in a dark cool place after blooming? I didn't know that. Of course, mine rarely re-bloom either! Love the silhouette.
