You live in a most interesting area Richard. I prefer the wilder parts, such as the woodland. I wouldn't care to have industrialised farm land as shown in your last three shots outside my door. But you do get some good shots from it.

@lostphojo Better than looking out at hundreds of other houses or worse, an industrial estate.

@lostphojo BtW - the trees at the back of the field are part of Paimpont forest, you have to go more than 10km before you come out into the clear again... and there's still lots more forest after that.

I tried to count the bales...without success. They are not arranged in any way that might have enabled me to visually 'section' those l'd already counted before trying to count another area. Am my own victim...I like symmetry. My day may come for bales, yet l very much doubt it.

@lostphojo Having recently travelled by train through France I saw massive farms with few hedgerows and was appalled! Crossing from Wales to England I have always hated the farmland I see in Shropshire but in future I might condemn it less! But on the size of forests we aren't in the same league as France. As for the industrial landscape I like the juxtaposition of rural and industrial. I have lived in such a landscape where the industry was coal mining and I loved it. Something about the people and my working class roots perhaps?
