NF-SOOC Day 29: Le Vieux Quartier... by vignouse

NF-SOOC Day 29: Le Vieux Quartier...

... of La Roche Bernard - most of these buildings date from the 15C. Had the usual debate with myself over whether to post this in colour or B&W... tonight, colour won. BtW, the old inn at the left not only looks good - it's a Michelin starred restaurant.

This is the penultimate post for my annual NF-SOOC September challenge - you can read all about it here: https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/42451/nf-sooc-september-2019

View on black please... pretty please ;-)
What a fascinating shot. Glad you chose the colour!

I love those magical lights. Super capture.

Very nice, Richard. Can that be said of the restaurant? Michelin stars don't grow as brightly as they once did

@lostphojo The last - in fact the only - time we ate there was 4+ years ago on Margaret's 65th birthday and they only got their M star last year. When we were there the fare was well executed 'nouvelle cuisine' - with prices to match - but not 'star' quality... perhaps they've changed their chef.
