'The' Farmhouse... by vignouse

'The' Farmhouse...

...this closes the circle on the story I've been telling over the past few days. This is the ruined farmhouse that was associated with the farm buildings from yesterday's post. And if you look closely at the doorway you will see the spooky doll that started all this off with my 5 December post.

Time to move on now I think...

But not before I remind you that it's BoB - of course...
Thanks for sharing. Would like to know who placed the doll there.

@sdutoit The question is not just who but also why... I'm not certain that I do want to know Sylvia.

Great light on the decaying roof

I don't think doll placers would be any stranger than doll photographers. Might be some kindred spirits. The strangest part of this photo for me is the electric wiring.

Wonderful capture of abandonment and isolation.

Nice shot of this aged building. I feel sad when I see a home or building left to molder and wonder what the story behind that is.

I visited this family in the past. To see their home abandoned and in a false 'altered' state saddens me.

Well what a pity it's in this state! Great atmospheric shot Richard. And of course BoB.
