@joansmor Well you might be right - I just made an assumption because it looks like the ones we have in the garden. This tree is surrounded by woodland - hidden in the mist - so it's possible.
I have to stop myself talking shots of trees, I'm just drawn to them. I definitely would have taken on of this tree though. Very atmospheric shot Richard.
@jgpittenger Thank you Jane: no mystery, it'an electric-fence post - there are more out of shot as the field behind, hidden in the mist, is used for pasture. I was going to remove it, then I decided that I like the slight imbalance it adds to the image.
Would fit the artist challenge 🙃
