Skew Bridge - and Mrs S...

Part of the canal at Swindon under restoration with Mrs S exploring the towpath under Skew Railway Bridge. Skew Bridge is so named because the arch consists of a normal arch and a skewed arch butted together: the brick courses change from normal to helical about two-thirds of the way through as you can clearly see in this image.
