...left out by Marie, the neighbour across the field, for Mrs S to pick up when she passed with Mitzi. We can't mix and mingle any more but human relationships have many dimensions.
I spent a long time deliberating whether to post this in B&W or colour - my deliberations ended when I realised that I was trying to decide between what I thought would go down best on 365 versus what I liked personally!
I can imagine that this would work in either color or B&W with equal success. I liked your commentary! At the end of the day we should post the image we see in our minds, what we want it to be, but sometimes it is so hard to beat out the loud chorus of doubt! This being said from a person who has only posted cell phone shots for over a week!
Good for you, going with what YOU like. That's what we're here to see; what you like to create. Lovely little eggs all neatly arranged in their carton.
Richard you surely know by now that B&W is the version to post if you find yourself uncertain because the colour one didn't grab you immediately! You could avoid this situation by setting b&w on your camera. See, its easy! This is lovely! Fav
The light is beautiful of these eggs. I can tell they are different colors and I look how there is pattern on some of the eggs and texture on others. How lucky to be getting fresh eggs.
Beautiful. I read recently that we should buy white eggs, so I'm very happy to see that you have 3 of each. It's very difficult to buy white eggs here - at least in a shop. It seems that red hens, the bearers of brown eggs, are very aggressive towards each other and have to have their beaks trimmed - which is quite painful for them. White hens don't need to have this done. Anyway, that's just a little aside - you probably knew that!

And here I'm drawn to the darker speckled ones too. Good shot.
