Confinement Exercise View

We're allowed to exercise once a day for no more than an hour and within one kilometre of home... armed with a signed derogation document of course and proof of identity.

This little hamlet is close to us - we live about 350 metres to the right of the white house and about 700 metres from where I was standing when I took this image.

I guess it will be BoB.
Excellent processing - we get one walk a day as well but no ID required....

We're not quite at the carrying proof if identity stage, but it's coming I think.
Quaint looking hamlet.

Your neighborhood is such a lovely rural area where I live in a small city. That is why I love to go to the beach or No 1 pond to walk. So far we can still go to No 1 pond but the beaches are closed. No 1 pond is never crowded so we can do social distancing.

So tranquil and those clouds are marvelous. We don't have any 'orders' yet but I think that we should.

I look forward to your images of your surroundings. You have such a wonderful sense of space and beauty. I like the horizontal lines in this one.

Suitably sombre and bleak.

@jgpittenger It's not long is it... but the rule is there to limit exposure. Living within one kilometre of our house there are perhaps a couple of dozen people and even that small number wouldn't all be out at the same time. In a big city though, within that same radius, one would expect to find many thousands of people. One size doesn't fit all but they're trying to keep the rules clear and simple I guess.

Bare tree branches always catch my eye; these here stand out so crisply in B&W.
