NF-SOOC-Sept-04 - Crucifix

This image was taken from the foot of the 16C staircase that leads from the entrance corridor of Paimpont Abbey Church to the presbytery on the first floor. This life-size crucifix is hung at the turn of the stairway and is the first thing that the priest sees when he descends the stairs to the church.

This is for the NF-SOOC-September challenge which you can read all about here - https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/43961/nf-sooc-september-2020

The verticals are a bit iffy in this one... learning point!

Have fun with this challenge everyone...

Hmmm Powerful image, Richard. Fav. From that angle, how can the verticals (and simultaneously the horizontals) not be a 'bit iffy'? You would have to be a few steps up the staircase to get that right. But the image might not have the punch of this one. So much for photography's rules!
