Two guys in a double scull on the river Vilaine at La Roche Bernard today. They were more about enjoying the sunshine on the water rather than serious training, but seeing them took me back to when I used to do be an active oarsman around 53 years ago! Boat and blade (oar) technology has also moved on a bit in the intervening years I see ;-)
Okay too much distraction as I took a photo walk this morning, and Jan and I went out this afternoon and I am behind now on processing and commenting so forgive me. I loved watching these boats when I got to see some when I lived in Massachusetts.
