After our walk into Saintes, we left for a short drive to the home of some old friends. Cully - when he's not being an architect - is a very accomplished wood-turner. Here he's making an adaptor to fit a dust extractor onto his planing machine.

Wonderful capture of man at work. Love the capture of the motion of the turning lath and the little bits of wood chipping off the tool. Very precise hands at work creating!
