A Year of Days - Day 318: Dead Boat

The inner harbour at Paimpol is kept 'mouillé' - flooded - by large automated lock gates whereas the outer harbour is subject to the vagaries of the tides and it is there that many 'épaves' - wrecks - end up... like this one seen at the end of a long line of boats that have seen better days.
Superb as always, excellent processing - the fav is because I love that wreck

Seems such a shame to abandon any boat! Great photograph which looks very French! Hope you are bearing up with the latest news!

Like dogs, every boat has its day. Sad that this one hasn't been able to retire more gracefully.

When I look at your coastal shots I think it is the boats that are the most different from my coastal shots (well and your superb compostion, etc).
