Wishbone Day by vignouse

Wishbone Day

Joan @joansmor wrote me in an e-mail - "A friends husband has Osteogenesis Imperfecta - OI - or brittle bone disease. May 6th is Wishbone Day which is a day to bring awareness to this disease - http://www.wishboneday.com/ The color they use is yellow. I am using the tag wishbone. I am hoping you will find a yellow flower or something and post with this tag."

I often feel that action groups trying to raise awareness of rare diseases or conditions find themselves knocking at closed doors; so when today I passed this building in course of renovation (the yellow is some kind of wood treatment) it was a Godsend and seemed the perfect image for me to post in the name of this good cause today.
@joansmor - this is for you and Nikki on this special day.

Superbly done. Selective colour without the selecting. A great way to mark the day.

The fact that it's a treatment could also be highly symbolic (and explains why there is yellow on the pavement before the door)
