Is what Mitzi appears to be saying as she's caught red-handed (red-pawed?) on a chair she's not supposed to be on... my chair! The wind has been blowing a hoolie all day and the rain has been coming at us sidewards, and in torrents. I spent a large (and damp) part of the day trying to stop the water coming in the front door. So, a day with restricted photo opportunities... but there's always Mitzi. I even let her stay on my chair ;-)
(You can find an explanation of OCOLOY in my 1 January post and in my profile.)
Today's OCOLOY learning point: frame carefully... no, really carefully; look all around the edges of the viewfinder, then do it again. Don't press that button until you're happy because shooting SOOC is WYSIWYG! You only get one chance to get it right. (I did have a better framed one than this but she turned her head away as I pressed the button.)
Two spent some time closed in the bathroom because she knocked something on the floor she wasn't supposed to. A lot of this lately so thought it was time to make my point. It's like being a parent with a stubborn child. SO I guess today I have no sympathy for Mitzi.
@francoise I know, just look at that bottom right corner where the blanket on the back of the chair is folded under.... 5 minutes in PS would sort that!
I love the picture!! Such a sweet looking dog :) And I like the B&W....
I had to google "blowing a hoolie" my curiosity got the best of me being from Colorado in the US lol I learn so much here on 365 :)
I like the idea of ONCOLOY... I am going to remember that for a weekly challenge for myself later. Thank you for all your tips and comments- I appreciate and enjoy them :)
Great shot...looked up "blowing a hoolie" which could be derived from hooley which is slang for a rip roaring party...not sure if I googled correctly :)
I think that our pets tend to use our favourite places as way to tell us that they part of our families off course. Good to see that your dog stays quiet for portraits
