OCOLOY Day 20: Catkins by vignouse

OCOLOY Day 20: Catkins

Pictured this afternoon during a walk around the lake at the neighbouring town of Mauron - I just liked the simple, almost abstract feel of this composition.

This image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my post for 1 January and in my profile.
Lovely capture, nice focus!

I ❤︎ this. Has a lensbaby quality to it.

@jocasta Well spotted Joy - it's actually a characteristic of the X100T that with the lens wide open and the 'macro' facility engaged, the resulting image is very soft, especially in the out-of-focus areas. I exploited this characteristic in this image.

Agreed, joyously simple composition...I've been (somewhat unsuccessfully ) to simplify my images as of late.
