OCOLOY Day 29: Winter Trees and Wind-Turbines

Two things that I like: the shapes and tracery of trees in Winter and Wind-Turbines standing tall, proud and graceful.

This image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my post for 1 January and in my profile.

Probably best viewed on black...

I like the mix of the country road and fence, with the modern wind-turbines in the background.

There is a certain similarly between the trees and the turbines, hopefully the turbine never replaces the tree..

Take me home, country roads... I'm glad to hear that you also like wind turbines, they have such bad press. I think they are just as you say, proud and graceful and such a clean, constant way to create power.

@jack4john My sentiments exactly. As we live on the edge of a huge forest which draws visitors from the world over and so indirectly make a significant contribution to the local and regional economy. Our trees aren't going anywhere.

Nice with all the somewhat straight lines and then the spidery mix on tree branches.

I like the technology (windmills) and nature (trees) which give the photo symmetry of sorts.
