OCOLOY Day 213: Consortium Musicum Divertimento

If you've been reading between the lines you will have gathered that I've been on duty at Paimpont Abbey all week which has left very little time for photography outside of the Abbey. The Sunday Classical Concert this afternoon was a chamber music offering from a Dutch instrumental and choral group of mixed amateur and professional musicians. This was their alternative style closing piece - Libertango by Astor Piazzolla.

As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile. And I note in passing that this is the 1500th image I have posted to my project!
What a beautiful place for a concert, and a great photo of it.

I honestly can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon. If the acoustics are half as nice as the surroundings it must be close to perfection.

Libertango played with a cor anglais must have been interesting! Nice photo!

This is the 3rd time this group has performed at Paimpont and interstingly with more younger musicIans. Princess's our beloved K9 used to accompany to these concerts...and yesterday I took Miitzi for the first time. She behaved perfectly.

That's a fair few megabytes expended on 365... not sure it's a good idea to note these milestones (or should that be 'kilometre-stones'?} - you might feel pressure on yourself to reach the next one! Well done anyway and I look forward to however many more there are to come. well done one on reaching 1500 anyway Richard. I see you you weren't the only photographer there.

Great shot, love the clarity throughout the image. I do enjoy following your project, especially this year with your ocology project. Always take a look at your exif data, to learn from the shots I really like.
