OCOLOY Day 236: New Neighbour

About 400 metres from us is a rental house with a bit of land attached; the new tenants have horses and I made the acquaintance of this one on the evening dog-walk.

As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile. I had the X100T set for my preferred B&W high contrast but the strong angled sunlight has multiplied that effect and left the image a bit too contrasty. I set the picture size to 1:1 for a change and to make me think differently about framing.

A tadge better viewed on black I think...
It looks shy. I hope you and your dog enjoy horses.

Sweet shot...he looks lonely...I like the light and shadows in this shot.

The horse looks like it would like to make friends.

Yes quite contrasty, but don't mind it too much. I almost wish you could have gotten closer with the focus on his nose, what a wonderful shot that would have been.
