OCOLOY Day 241: Dead Trees

Managed to get out for a walk in the forest this afternoon - the first time in three weeks! I was rather taken with these decaying remnants of a couple of trees that had fallen a few years ago. Tones and textures agogo here!

Has more punch when viewed on black...
You're right...again! Most tactile on black and particularly like DOF.

Putting them in B&W gives them a decayed look!

Probably color would not have illustrated the remains of those trees nearly as well. There is a lot of texture.
