PLAY February - Fuji 18mm f/2: Weir

Shapes, patterns, textures and reflections... impossible to resist this view of the weir on the River Meu at Gaël.

This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for February it's the Fujinon 18mm f/2 on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji X-Pro1) - the equivalent of a 28mm lens on a full-frame camera.

This is also for the Flash of Red 2017 challenge.

On black is best for maximum impact...
Looks like the cross has fallen before Easter

Oooo, those tree branch reflections are excellent. While everything else seems to be moving, those twigs are perfectly still there on the water.

VML the reflections without the master copy. Needs must apply to my penchant for reflections.

A patchwork quilt of a photograph in mono! God one. Just needs a foot or two on the bridge perhaps?

I think Davids @yrhenwr patchwork covers it nicely - meant in a positive way.

Interesting juxtaposition of the mirror like water and turbulent water.
