I'm always amazed - when I take the time to look, as I did today, in our woodshed - at the huge variety of fungi that grow on logs. I was attracted by the intricate gills on these specimens. You can also see the various stages in the growth cycle, starting from just a little shapeless blob and ending in these elaborate shapes.
This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for March it's the Fujinon 60mm f/2.4 Macro on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji XT2) - the equivalent of a 90mm lens on a full-frame camera.
Richard, can you help me? I downloaded Silver Efex Pro 2 to my computer. And I can not seem to move a photo into it from my pictures in my computer. Do I have to use it as a plug in from Gimp that I am now using and if so how would I do that? Appreciate any help you can give me. I am pretty new to all of this, but trying to learn. I am loving all of your photo's and always enjoy seeing what you can do. FAV
@miata2u Thanks Peggy - bad news I'm afraid, the Nik suite is only designed to be used as a plug-in with LR, PS, PSE or Aperture. Computer geeks have hacked it to use either as a standalone or with Gimp but it is a complicated and quirky procedure... a Google search will get you more details.
They really looks like landlocked corals!
Thank you, Claes.
