Project 52: Week 49 - Where once sat a proud rider...

... now sits only dust. Abandoned bikes in the barn where I store my Motor Home during the winter months. I liked the way they were caught by a beam of low autumn sunlight coming through a crack in the wall.

I would encourage you to view this on black.

Intriguing scene produced by the light and nicely captured my yourself.

As you probably know I'm quite found of bikes - this is one of the most poetic and beautiful, yet alternative, picture I've seen of bikes. Nice one Richard, easy fav!

The view on black brings out the bleakness of these bikes' situation. Good eye for a photo op.

Well lit, great texture. I may still have one from my stint in India where the leather on an old school saddle was worn through, with springs showing; couldn't have been much fun to pilot.
