The rain is back. Trust me to book off days from work when it's supposed to pour it down all week. This may restrict my photography options somewhat, or it could open up some creative possibilities. I've got to look at the bright side I suppose, despite it being so dull outside!
I picked up my brother yesterday evening so we could watch the World Cup Final, and he stayed the night. I dropped him off late tonight, as I planned on doing some night photography on the way back using my new tripod.
The road wasn't particularly busy, so it took a few attempts. I didn't really know how it was going to turn out until I looked at my pictures when I got home, but I'm quite happy with this. I like that there's a symmetry to the lines. I think with practice and experience I can do better.
I have two days left of my short time off work. I have so much to do around the house, but I do want to use what's left of my time off to do another planned shoot. I just need to think of the next subject matter...
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

Very very nice. Technically speaking I don't think you could get better, the settings are exactly what I would have used. Perhaps you mean just with more experiance with this type of shot it will get better.... Either way its great!
BTW I bought 'the photographers eye' that you and several people recommended in a book post a few weeks back. It just arrived and looks like a great book. I have never read anything about photography other than my camera manual, so I am really excited to give it a read and add some more fundamental knowledge to my skillset. Thanks for the recommendation.
your shot is AWESOME btw. that has to take some skill.
