I've had a bit of an inactive day today. It was raining again outside and I just felt like staying in and doing very little, which is what I did. I said in yesterday's post that I should try and use the rain as a feature of my photography if the weather isn't the best, so I took a few snaps of my window soon after a downpour.
I used my 50mm lens so I could increase the aperture to achieve the blurred background. In post-processing I changed the tint to give it a vintage feel. It's a lazy shot to top off a lazy day.
Tomorrow's my last day off work. Frankly I haven't done much in my time off, so I think it might be a busy day. I hope I can find the time to take a few decent photos, and find inspiration despite the predicted precipitation.
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.
