What a hectic evening. I met my mum after work and took her to various places to meet some friends and family. I was the taxi driver, which is a bit strange because it used to be the other way around! I didn't have much time when I dropped my mum off tonight so I played around with an LED light I bought at the festival I went to on Saturday.
Not the most amazing shot but I wanted to have a go with my LED light. The LED light was actually red but I changed the colour of it in post-processing, and I added a texture to give the picture an extra boost.
I think I'm buying a new lens tomorrow! I'm going to Brighton on Friday so I'd ideally like to take an ultra-wide angle lens with me before I go. The Canon 10-22mm lens seems ideal, and there's a second-hand one going for sale in a camera shop out of town. It'll be a painful and expensive purchase, but ultimately worth it I hope.
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

Have tried this a few times and is quite good fun. Tried writing something but that's when it gets tricky. Know what you mean about being the taxi driver tho...!
I just finished browsing all your photos and gosh, they are all splendid!!! I also noticed that you don't even use very costly cameras (s90 and 450D) which simply proves that it's not in the camera, it's in the talent! Cheers to you Vic! I wish I can be as good as you someday :)....I'm a big fan!
I love it
:)
and yay for new gear!
