Lights, camera, action!

Many years ago my fiancée bought me a clapper board. It was one of those things that I always wanted despite having no practical use for it, because I'm such a film buff. Anyway, being the good sport that she is I got one as part of an ensemble of birthday presents, and today I finally found a use for it. I grabbed the clapper board off the shelf and blew the dust off, and took a few photos.

I tried taking a few shots with my hands about to shut the clapper board, but the image didn't stand out for me. I then laid it on the floor and took a few photos with it from different angles. In post-processing I converted to monochrome. With more time I probably could have been more creative.

I got a package today I was waiting for. I've bought another pair of sunglasses - my third pair of Ray Bans! I must stop with this addiction, as summer is drawing to a close.
